All Heights & Hallows

HILLOCK O'CARNS FARM is located in South-central Iowa. Our beautiful pastoral region is one of fertile ridge tops, hardwood covered hillsides, and lush pastures. Our family's ancestors lived in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Thus, the visitor to our farm will experience our affinity to things Scottish.

HILLOCK O'CARNS FARM, along with our family's NEW SKYE FARM, extends across 1,100 acres. Nearly the entire acreage is seeded down to forages or is in timber, although some bottom ground is farmed for silages. Four enterprises constitute the production side of our farms: the STUD & HORSE, the HAY, the CATTLE, and the SHEEP farms.

Come visit more photos from our farm's past!
